From our family to yours...

The Wild Kin Co began the same way many great ideas do, in the middle of everyday chaos. We’re a husband and wife team living in beautiful Noosa on the Sunshine Coast, raising our two little adventurers, our spirited four-year-old daughter and our curious one-year-old son. Like every young family, we quickly learned that even the simplest outing requires a lot of stuff.

A morning at the beach, a quick walk to the park, a picnic by the river, they all came with an endless checklist. Nappies, bottles, spare clothes, snacks, sunscreen, hats, wipes, toys, towels, lunchboxes, water bottles…the list goes on.

We found ourselves making multiple trips back and forth to the house, balancing bags on each shoulder, and still managing to forget something. The more we chatted with other parents, the more we realised everyone was feeling the same frustration.

That question sparked the idea for The Big Day Out Bag, our flagship product and the heart of The Wild Kin Co. We designed it to do exactly what families need: hold everything, stay organised, look elevated, and make getting out the door so much easier. A bag that supports the reality of family life and encourages more moments outdoors, because those moments are everything.
