Hi, we're Amber and Stu.

We're the founders of The Wild Kin Co, parents to two little adventurers, and lovers of slow mornings, beach days and making the most of family life here in Noosa.

Like so many parents, we discovered that getting out of the house wasn't always the relaxing adventure we imagined. It often felt like packing for a weekend away, bags, snacks, towels, spare clothes, toys... and somehow, we still forgot something.

The more we spoke to other families, the more we realised we weren't alone. Everyone was carrying too much, juggling too many bags and spending more time preparing than actually enjoying the day.

That's where The Wild Kin Co began.

So We Created What We Couldn't Find

After countless prototypes, real family adventures and thoughtful refinements, The Big Day Out Backpack was born. Beautiful enough to carry every day. Practical enough to keep up with family life. Designed to help you carry less, organise more and spend more time making memories together.
